Default Help needed for a college paper

I am writing a paper that is based on a speech from the 1960's, we were told that we could pick any topic to cover. I choose to do conservation and game management as my topic however i am having trouble finding a speech to use to base my paper off of. If any of you guys can think of an influential outdoorsman of the 1960's and the begining of the conservation movement or a specific speech please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is for an English 103 course at West Virginia University, my major is wildlife and fisheris resource management.

What about something about Young and Pope, or Fred Bear?

From a gun and shooting point of view. Check out Roy Weatherby, Jack O'Conner, P.O. Ackley and Gibbs. Don't know how they relate to conservation, but that should be the right around their time periods.

Or Bill Ruger. Going back further, Teddy Roosevelt would be a good fit.

It has to be a speech. Must be some politician back then talking about the environment. Maybe an NRA aactivist like Charlton Heston?

Aldo Leopold would also be a good choice. If you go to Google Scholar you will find all the information you need for your term paper.
