Thanks for all the replies. Its humbling to know that my 9 year old has shot a bigger deer than me. I was a proud papa and so excited that I ran from the blind and beat him to the deer.

great deer ,it rained most of the day here. i only heard of one 8pter and a doe being killed near me.
