Default 2008 Opening day VA rifle kill

Someone gimme a score, I didn't rough him when I took him to the taxi later that day. He is 15" wide and his longest tine I believe is 9", but I might be wrong, it's been awhile since I've seen him. Btw, it was an 85 yd shot with a Winchester Model 70 in 243 (my all time favorite gun). Dropped him in his tracks as he came out of a bedding area. Didn't mean to hit him where I did, but there is an odd connection with this gun and as soon as the x hairs came into the 'vital' (he was 1/4 ering to me) the gun went off and he hit the deck. That's my oldes in the picture. She is having issues with understanding why I am not taking her bowhunting since she got her first taste of hunting last year....

VA rifle season opens in September? Wow. We have to wait until December 1st (or there abouts) in PA.
