I wouldn' t look at it as just a tree stand business because whatever you supply you better be ready for the long haul!! 24/7, 7 days a week and all your blood, sweat and tears to make it work. There is so much competition and it is a fight to the end! But if and when you make it work the rewards are countless!!!Good luck if you decide to take this venture and send me a FREE catalog!!

Lots of competetion, but if you make a good product and keep the price down you might have a chance of success. Watch for patent infringement problems and you will need insurance that will cover you in case someone falls while using your product. If you are going to stay small building a good ladder stand product may be easier to build and may sell easier.
