Default Big Doe Down

So I didn't get the big buck I was looking for, but I managed to put down a nice sized doe this past weekend.

After a disasterour last season of misses and one wounding, I hit the range often and practiced hard these past months. It all paid of when I spotted a muley doe about 60 yards from me and snuck in to about 30 yards. My arrow was true and hit just above the heart. The doe took off about 30 yards and dropped. It felt like redemption for me. I had some bacon wrapped backstraps tuesday night. mmmmmmm
