For some very close numbers, go have a look at last years bowhunting contest, take a look at the pics and the scores that were recorded. Here is the link.

Buck on MY right....scored 106-4/8". Buck on MY left scored 103-1/8".

Buck on YOUR left scored 97-5/8". Buck on YOUR right scored 106-2/8". You can't see his left G2....but it's broken off at about the 3" mark.

80 - 90" buck

100" buck

110" buck

120" buck

130" buck

This would just be what I would guess these deer at. I'm not an expert but most deer I can guess within 5". I usually just start counting length starting with the G1,g2, and g3... For instance, the 130" buck would have 6.5" on g1, 8" g2, and 8" g3. that's 22.5" on length, then I figure around 20" main beams on this deer, putting it up to 42.5". Plus the girth measurements which I just use by my knowledge of the deer I have shot and guess this one is around 16" of girth on each side. That puts the left side up to 58.5".... x 2 = 117" plus the inside spread should put it just over 130". I just watch hunting dvd's and practice adding up the measurements and then looking on the back of the dvd to see what the deer actually score. It just takes time...

mj....

Looks to me like your 80-90" buck is all over (but "just" under") 100".

Your second buck will go 115" (IMO).

I agree on the rest.

90-110 you might think about killing but usually pass after you have hunted a few years...

110-130...You figure "Might as well give them another year"...

140 plus...No doubt... :)
