Gimme an age and score
I got several pics of this guy last year from velvet to late season. Was thinking he was around 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 this year, maybe older. Am I going to far by thinking 145 - 150"? I will include pics from last year showing that he hasn't changed much.
He has a 4 inch kicker coming off of his right G2. Last year it came off of his left G2. This year ![]() ![]() Last year ![]() ![]() |
looks like hes 4 to me
We scoring the deer or the Racoon lol :)
He's one of many that are getting fat for the winter from my corn....:s2:

130 gross, max
130 gross, max I get 148". Once they get to 3.5....anything over that would be a complete guess, for me. But let's just say he's older than that. Good luck. |
i agree with gmmat-somewhere between 145 and 150.
I think your right there with the age but a little generus on the score. Super buck, good luck hunting him. Chris
i think he would probably be 145-150....definitely bigger than 130max...
I think you've pegged him just about rt. Beautiful buck for sure. Hope you get your chance.

145-150" I would say at least 4.5 if not 5.5 year old
140- 145", and where were you on Nov 19th last year???
id say 140 - 155 and id say they are 3 1/2 to 4
I'd go with the 150" guess as well. If he's not 150", he's damn close.
you sure thats the same deer? in pictures one and two he doesn't have the kicker off the G 2 and in the 3rd he does and it has a spider web on it.... and the top deer has split eye guards.

Gmmat hit it on the nose imo..thats what i was thinking..

Id have to go with 4.5 and 140
I would age him at 3 or 4 and probably score 140"+.
Id say he is at least 4.5 and 140-145 including that kicker point.
I was going to say 5.5 until i saw last years pic, pretty sure i'd go with 4.5 with a gross score falling between 148-152. Nice deer, Isn't it weird how traits jump sides from year to year.

140" 5.5 maybe 6.5

Ryan. This is what I was thinking. What makes you think it is the same deer? Definately from the same gene pool but not sure if it is the same deer.:confused0024: Also, take a look at the throat patch. It is grey last year but white this year. Regardless, nice deer. |
The first two pics are from this year. The last two are from last year.

At work LOL... I never hunted that stand last year. My father-in-law wanted to shoot a couple does for the frezzer and I said he could hang a stand there. I tagged out on a 148" 10pt 250yds away from this camera two days later. :)

He LOST a kicker on 1 side but gained it on the other. That is what I am seeing.Deer don't normally do that,do they? They will gain junk but not lose it will they?
I have seen 2 deer running together with identical 120"-130" racks. If these deer were seen separately,by the same person at 2 different times, they would be convinced they were seeing the same deer. I just don't see enough evidence to say for sure this is the same deer.Yes,these pics are very similar and the main frame definately looks to be the same deer but I see where it could be a different deer as well. You have seen more pics of it/them.There may be other features but I can't find them.I will defur to your experience with him. Either way, you are definately on some great deer. Good luck with him/it.:happy0001: |
4 years old and 167
TFOX, I hope I'm wrong and your right. That would be fabulous if there were two..:woot:I searched for many hours this spring for the sheds from last year, but came up short.:bash:
I'd put him around 150 as well. He's a great looking buck! Good luck getting an opportunity at him this season.
id say 4 yr and proly 140 gross
5.5 years old and a score of 168
I'm gonna go with what a bunch of others though. I can't get anywhere close to 150. Upper 130s to low 140s & 4.5 years old. Great buck nonetheless!
139 6/8 is my exact guess... |
