Well I just got stationed in SC and had 2 weekends to hunt. I filled a doe tag and shot this guy the last evening. Not a monster but sure tasted good on the grill last night.

Ha! I hear you. I came out here from Vermont to do some hunting and fishing in 1974 after I got out of the service and knew I had to live here....moved out here in 1977 and have never regretted it. Vermont will always be home.....I'll always be a Vermonter at heart, but I love Montana. Hunting is just one aspect of living here... It's the culture and way of life... the people are wonderful. It's been a great place to raise my kids...

9 point not a monster but sure is a nice late season buck and he made me the third year straight jerk for harvesting the biggest buck of the year out of the 6 of us who all hunt and run around together

Shot 2 does this season, One in archery (no pic) and opening day of rifle. Then got a flintlock for christmas and took and shot a deer new years day, turned out to be a buck that already shedded

Some aweful nice deer there Tatonka. I've always wanted to live in MT. You guys are lucky as you have almost no reason to leave your state to hunt a variety of animals. Except for gators!
