No doubt its Texas
plus our hog population is estimated at 2 million, nation wide is 4 million in 42 states.
We also have the largest #'s of out of state hunters..I wonder why.

Not many states can match the deer population, legal number to kill a year and good climate as Alabama. We don't produce many book bucks, but you can't eat horns anyway.

I have been VERY impressed with Indiana. Only hunted two years here, and taken 2 of my 3 biggest bucks with only a few hours of field time each year. I have seen deer I have not taken that are bigger than the biggest I saw in 15 years of hunting Michigan.

I was also impressed with the selection in Montana. Heck, we drove around glassing for 2 hours and saw several 140+ deer, and stalked/nailed a 160-class.

Great hunting here in Oklahoma. Lots of land, lots of deer, no tree huggers, peta types not welcome, a very hunter-friendly state.

If you are talking about hunting huge bucks, it's Iowa.
