Is it just me, or is this thing a tad pricy at 200.00?

Below are a few must-have ground blind accessories. There are lots of chair options for ground blind hunters. There are lightweight fold-up chairs, lawn chairs, and my favorite…if I want a sore back - the five gallon bucket. There is now a new chair that was designed by Huntmore Products called the 360º Hunting Stool. The stool is compact, folds up and slips into a pack that can be carried over the shoulder. At eight pounds, the stool is slightly heavier than most chairs, but the added benefits of the stool outweigh being a little heavy. |
I tried out this stool at the Birmingham AL Deer Expo a couple of weeks ago and it's a great stool, very sturdy and comfortable for us larger hunters BUT at $199 show price I almost had a heart attack. Thanks but no thanks, I'll buy a couple of Wallyworld foldable chairs a year.

For $50 you could buy a nice chair blind and sit in comfortable concealment. Most even have cup holders.

$200 for a stool? Yes, that's kinda crazy. I've never had any problem with a normal folding chair. Those director-chair style with the flip up tables on the side are great! I guess that stool is easy to carry around with you, though, if you're carrying everything in with you the morning of your hunt.
