Question about blinds
 

When you hunt out of a blind do you use a natural blind ( made from real natural resources like trees, leaves, shrubs )

Or do you use one made from a company?

Also which do you think would work better?

I like the blinds made by Ameristep. They seem to be good quality and are low priced. Then I brush them in with branches from nearby trees.

Its kinda pricey.But well worth the money if u can scratch it up. i broke two support poles. They shipped me 4 new ones at no cost.Express mail no less.

The only blind i have ever killed a deer out of was a natural blind made of pine boughs. I have never been succesful in a "turkey" hunting blind...most of the time the deer run when they get close enough.

I have never tried to brush one in though with leaves and such

We have lots of palmettos down here so it real easy to make a natural blind. I've never even used a tent blind because it would get too hot; it's still in the 90's during bow season, and low 80's during firearm season.

I love to use natural blinds. if you can conceal yourself good enough the deer never know your there. my closest shots have came from using a natural blind

If I have the time, I like to make my own cause u can blend so much better. Most popup blinds work well though

Also, I have found that if you're going to use a pop-up blind for deer hunting, you want to set it up at least a week in advance of the hunt. It gives the animals time to get use to it.

I would use a natural blinds.

I use both, but mostly natural cover. My favorite "blind" is just a fallen tree top left over from when my peoperty was logged years ago.
