Here is Louisiana the horns usually stop growing when they are mounted on the wall. LOL

The pictures I have show the antler's grow until mid to end of August Thats here in Wi.

Here in South Carolina the deer season starts on Aug 15th. If you haven't shot on in velvet by the 3rd week of Aug you aren't going to. By then they harden and start rubging the velvet off. They are done growing by the second week of august and what you see is what you get.
