Thanks Crokit, I tried going to the range this evening to sight in my new deer rifle at a friends indoor range. My back hunt so bad sitting there that my groups weren't very tight, but I know that its just me. I'll have to hit the outdoor range one day when I'm doing better so that I can dial it in at longer ranges. It's killing me that I'm not going to be able to use this year, but the idea of being able to go hunting again is keeping my spirits up.

I think this is pretty much a no brainer. I'm itching to get back out there. Just started cutting paths on an untouched 20 acre plot with plenty of food. Should be interesting to see what I find there. It hasn't been touched in 15 years probably. Every time I pull in to do something I can hear the dear run off back into the woods. Hopefully I can get one or two!

I'm so pumped for this season. I'm about 95% Ready as far preperation goes. Mentally 150% for that one. Been shooting everyday, about 60-100 arrows everyday........ So not bad.

Tower stands to build, ladder stands to put up, fall food plots to plant, tons more shooting practice wanted. Only thing I have done is set up trail cams on the mineral sites and plant iron clay peas, soybeans, corn and lab lab. Everything looks good so far. Still lots that needs to be done.

Time is growing short. Starting to get the bug as the days go by. We saw alot of deer during the spring turkey hunts. This year could be a real good one.
