My season ended last year in the middle of December, and the next day I was ready! Now, do I have everything ready? No way. Still have to check all my stands, trim shooting lanes, move a couple of stands, wash all my stuff, start shooting my bow again....... (I know, I should be shooting my bow all season long, but I just have too many things going on during my off season.)

I'm always ready to go hunting but I'm not always prepared. I have some late summer spotting to do to verify that a shooter buck is actually using certain bedding areas. I need to knock the dust off my bow. I need to go thru my gear and get everything together and in order. There is a lot of summer left to enjoy.

After devoting last season teaching the ex g/f, this one is mine! Secured entire bow season property by qualifying at a military base. Then drew out primo public land gun and muzzleloader permits. Bonus lottery for a county property coming up. Just bought a new Redhead Toxic bow.......first upgrade in 10 years. Have 3 weeks vacation time saved at work. Contract expires Oct. 1st and might be have all Oct. and Nov. off work to hunt .
