Differnce between pinch point and funnel?
Clarification needed

essentially the same. IMHO, pinch point would relate more to drastic geographic features such as cliffs, water-lakes, ponds, rivers.etc,- Funnels tend to be the narrowing of woods/cover from one travel area to the next. Both funnels and pinch points serve as tools to narrow travel of the deer to a more finite path.

Just a tip: don't fall into the trap of getting caught-up in terminology.

As long as both work somewhat the same, why would specific terminology be "NEEDED"?

btw, a funnel doesnt have to have something on both sides of the deer to work. Just a few fallen down trees or something of the sort that makes the deer move in a certain direction.
