for better or worse Wisconsin sells 100,000+ non-resident licenses. Mostly to FIBS (Friendly Illinios Brothers).

I'd still hunt whitetails where I'm hunting them now. Interlake region of Manitoba. I do feel fortunate that I have an area to hunt that, when compared to many, receives little hunting pressure.

i'd have to say Kansas. Canada is appealing but i'd rather keep my money in America as much as possible.

I care very little about trophies so I don't think I would want to travel anywhere out of state to hunt deer since my home state like many states these days has a good supply of them. If I had the money I would buy as much land as I could in my home state along with a small cabin or house to assure myself, my kids and friends a place all our own to hunt and enjoy for as long as we want without anyone else getting in our way. In the long run it will be money better spent and will give us more memories and good times than a trophy hunt anywhere else.

Driftrider... just curious... I've only ever hunted Ohio in my whole life. What do you mean the TV / professional hunters come out there and poach Iowa deer?

I can't really complain, I live right where I want to hunt.
