Best way to set up mineral sites.

apple no shame in asking a question, especially when you were just trying to help the local herd out. And im sure fishguts like myself only posted the info to save you some $$$ and not to put you down etc.. But mineral blocks, licks etc. are still worth while to put out because most deer that live more than 15 miles inland from the ocean need as much salt in their diet as they can get during the spring, summer and early fall months, there is just no need to spend more than 6.00 to provide the salt for them. All I will say is the minerals are a great way to make the deer stop and say "cheese" for my trail cameras. Its much cheaper than dumping bags and bags of corn out for months at numerous locations. I still put a little corn out here and there but it gets expensive and Ive learned this is a much cheaper route. For $25 you can make 200 lbs of minerals and make several stations.
