RE: hunting

I have made alot of blinds mostly for archery antelope on water holes. 4 years ago I bought a double bull. I was concerned with a pop upbecause ofthe winds that we have here. they hold up extremely well for what I do. I have broken 2 of the poles so far one from a wind storm and once was my lack of know how when trying to set it up. When I talked to the boys at Primos to see if I could buy new ones they told me I couldnt but if I gave them my address they would ship me some new ones for postage. To me that is service... I have friends here that have ameristep. They tend to go through more poles and get charged for parts everytime. They cost more but for me it is worth the extra overtime money needed to purchase them.

RE: hunting

I just searched on my site www.myhuntingshop.com and on the first page of results there were 6 for under $100. I'm interested to know how much it costs in supplies to build one, and also how long it would take. I think I'll just pay the $70 or so to get a pop up blind. And just for the record I too love the Ameristep Doghouse blinds.

I use to make my own blinds but I ended up buying one at a discount price and wish I had done that from the start it is easy to set up is light and a lot more comfortable, worth the investment.

I'm seriously looking at purchasing the ground blind that mirror images the surroundings. That HAS to be one of the more intriguing concepts yet. Still waiting on reviews. Anyone on here have any experience with it?

It is called the ghost blind and it can be purchased at ghostblind.com

Well, fishintay, our gracious Moderator asked you a question.

I was going to ask the same.

We're waiting.
