Default deer question

Will shooting a .22 ora and a shotgun (maybe 1 or 2 times in a month) really scare deer off your property for good?No more than 10 or 15 times with the 22.1 or 2 times with the shotgun. The ony time I shoot my 243 is at the first of deer season to check the zero.thanks

Shooting will not scare deer off your property. If they're close by they will put some distance between you but they will come back to their usual places/movement patterns.

Not if you break their front shoulders with the first shot.

I've had a lot of deer in plots while someone would shoot within a few hundred yards and usually the deer don't even raise their heads. I don't think it would hurt at all.

If you shoot a lot the deer will adjust to it and it doesn't bother them all that much . We used to have to drive them off of the trap range at one club I belong to . I have a rifle range on my property and wild turkeys get to the point they don't pay all that much attention to you either .
