I prefer my treestand, but then again never used a tower stand

I would say it depends. I use a climber, fixed and ladder stands, ground blinds and boxesand a couple of tower blinds. One tower oversees an open field that is partially planted with a food plot and the other on the woods edge, with one window viewing a field while the back window views down an old logging road. The towers are great to take the kids, other family members who just want to observe and to stay dry from the elements. Kick back, turn on my buddy heater(chilly days)and read, crossword puzzles, etc.and eat without worrying if I'm going to spook a deer.
