HELP! need to know info on food plots
 

Hi i'm headin out tomorrow to work on a food plot, i guess what you need to know, is it is a fairly wet spot, not swamp, but very clay like soil. so it does stay fairly wet when it rains and such, just wonderin what kind of plot mix or food plot plants i should put in there, the spot should also recieve light practically all day. let me know if you need more info, otherwise any suggestions?

Hmmmmmm...? Wheat or foraging Oats might work well there or even clover?In the Fall/late season brassicas or turnips may work well too.........what State are you located in?

This time of year a good white clover will seed in about anywhere and the deer love it. It will provide protein and small game and birds will also enjoy it. Good luck!:eek:
