A hunting question...
Hey guys. I'm currently writing a story. I need a really good location in the US for a hunting spot. The rundown is there will be 5 hunters and they are shooting a video but they end up getting hunted themselves while outthere.... So, basically I need a place that's somewhat easily accessible, but secluded enough for such an event to take place. If you could list a forest or an area where this would be best, I would greatly appreciate it. And also the state it is in. Thank you. ( I was thinking maybe someplace in PA... maybe western PA. )

RE: A hunting question...
If you're just writing a hunting story, why would the events need to actually take place?

RE: A hunting question...
I am from PA myself and I believe any of the state forests in our state would work well for your story. They are all easily accessable and fairly large. If I were you I would choose Clear Creek State Forest. It covers almost 10,00 square acres and is known for some good deer hunting. It is also located in Western PA.

RE: A hunting question...
I suggest Alaska as well......
Lots of acherage lots of species of wildlife that are dangerous and lots of Indians and Eskimos that can either save you or trade you... Hech you got Russia thats only a few hundred km away, could be a good plot in your story. That country is so close to Alaskathere is a a river called the Russian River that is located in the very western boundary of the Chugach National Forest on the Kenai Pennisula.. The Russian river supports the largest recreational sport fishery in the world.. Close to 50,000 to 60,000 anglesrs annually.... Where there is fish there are bears and lots of them..... |
