I believe I would have to vent a little myself. I had considered what UncleNorbe posted, but it sounds like you know a true slob. He could have donated that meat.[:@][:@][:@]

Could thegame wardensdo anything about it in your state? Up here in Canada, he'd be in so much crap he'd get a significant fine, and have his hunting license stripped for allowing game to waste.

His butt would be in a sling in Minnesota too. They don't take kindly to wanton waste here at all. I'd give the warden a call.

Maybe the guy who shot the deer is inside of the house hanging? Stranger things have happened!

It sure feels good to be posting again!!

I would think it is a bit rotten by now, but I don't know what kind of temperatures ya'll have had. Maybe a couple of possum police could visit and make him eat the dang thing.

I think this goes beyond aged venison - well, well beyond. I would also say go ahead and report him to game officer. It is wanton waste pretty much the same as if he would have just dropped it and walked away.
