Shed Pics From This Year......
The largest shed in these pictures I am holding is a 73.5 inch typical five point. The circumferences are 5, 5, 5 3/4 and 6 1/4. I have now found four matching sets this year. The majority of the sheds pictured score in the mid 60' s. The elk shed pictured was found near Clam Lake Wisconsin and has six nice points.

Yeah, I' ve got quite a few new hot spots hooked up for next year. With my early season scouting I hope to be able to bag a good one. I came close a few times last year, but no cigar. Things will change.

Nice pics James! You have some good access to quality land. I' ve heard that shed hunting is gettign real popular in the Midwest--my ILL buddy had to chase guys off his two farms as they were looking for sheds. What' s up w/that?

Broadhead I agree. There seems to be quite a few people that enjoy finding sheds. I ask permission for everywhere I go. The farmers that I talk to usually say " what? you' re looking for what? oooooh deer horns. yeah, sure that' s fine." I think it saves them tractor tires, no problem getting permission from most farmers. There is also quite a lot of state land here too!
