RE: Bow sight pins
...which all of yall preferred. Three or Four pins?
Lots ofpeople, I think, aren't fond of many things that smack of math, but I always figured numbers are our friends. So I don't even bother to set the pins easy at 20, 30, 40, etc but rather use an odd array like 25, 33, 40, 46, 50 yd. I will range objects ahead of time (rocks, trees) so I know how far a deer is when it arrives, then pick the pin I want. Again - for hunting - the first 3 pins are all that come into play.
I also use a single-pin adjustable (Sure Loc) for my target rig and the trick with it is to remember to set the pin properly for each distance. Old brains sometimes forget to do that.
