I was just curious of the conditions why so many killed. Possible he has 300 deer per square mile. In the past people shot that many deer around here,Now we have next to none. I had to buy property 6 hours away in another state to hunt. I have 105 acres with around 70 deerthat pass thruand only shot 2 mature bucks. Could of shot more , But decided to spend 3000 dollars this winter to feed them instead.Need to have some for the future. When all the deer are goneI cant create more,I am not God.Other people can do what they want,But for me Im conserving and when they run out of deer in their area they aint hunting on my place. Posted ,gate locked and patrolled by camers and a big gun. Instead of killing the deer because of the lack of habitate, I create and supply food to match the heard. I always did do things different. But after 60 years I am sick of hunting 500 hours a season and see 4 deer. So I stepped up and changed things. Now at daybreak I see 40 deer pass by everyday.

Looks like you should have enough venison to live on for awhile.

Congrats on a great year.

And mabey, just mabey his family uses that many deer each year. As hard as it is for some of you to believe, everyone doesn't hunt just to get the biggest set of antlers. I know familes that put 10-15 deer a year in the freezer just so they don't half to buy as much meat.
