I was just looking through the hunting regs and i always thought that it was illegal to bait or hunt over bait for deer. The regulations dont say it is. The only animals they say its illegal for is turkey and bear. Anyone know if its legal or illegal??

It is my understanding that you can bait deer legally on private ground only.

I only hunt on private land, so that works for me..
