Blind or Treestads

Which do you prefer to hunt with a blind or treestand?

In a tree as high as I can get and still have good visibility.

[8D] I have been hunting with a bow for longer than I should admit and have found that both have thier pros and cons. The first deer I ever killed was while stalking a cornfield, walked right up to within 20yds of two nice does, they were stunned that I was there. I have also had great opportunities squating in a ditch or hedgerow with a couple of sticks stuck in the ground with some burlap draped over them to break my outline. I also have 5 different loc-on treestands and one very nice climber. So it really DEPENDS where you hunt, why not try it all! Lee

I prefer hunting out of a tree stand rather than on the ground and if i do hunt on the ground i use natural cover not a blind.

For me it depends on where Im hunting. Some places I find it better for me to use a blind, and some places I find it easier to use a Treestand. But again, it all depends on where YOU hunt and what the conditions are! :)

There are seven tree stands and one ground blind on my property. I love the visibility of getting up above the ground cover. I have plans in the works for both more tree stands and more ground blinds. Hunting pressure and even snow cover change the trails that the deer use. I want to stay flexible enough to change with them.

I prefer treestands over blinds when bowhunting and don' t have a preference when rifle hunting.

Have been hunting out of a ground blind for three years
now and at my age enjoy the comfort and ease that the
blind provides, plus my hunting partner would have trouble
sittin in a tree with me!! He like curling up under my stool!

Hey Jsager you can use my blind and see what it is really like to hunt on the ground. I use a wig wam blind with a nice chair with cup holders. Very Very relaxing.:D
