this is a rub i recently found. at the top of the rub it is about 6 foot becasue i am 6 foot and it about my height

A large high racked monster could have made that rub. But so could a small buck. How is that ?? When any buck decides to get aggressive with a tree that size, he can and will push it flat to the ground, easy

im gonna put out a trailcam this spring and maybe i could get a look at him!

haystack yes that is true but is is 6 feet off the ground. wouldnt it have to a be a big guy?

It could have!!!! But that type of tree, has got a lot of give to it. Even a small buck has tremendous power. I once watched a small 5 pointer, work a rub. It was something to see, he would take the sapling to the ground, back and forth. He mangled that tree, from the ground up. Seeing trees tore up high like that is not real common. But not unusual on that size tree. If the tree is solid as fence post and tore up that high, then their is no doubt a big one done it. Anything is possible.... and we all see new things every year. Hope you get some pictures.

Maybe it was weighed down by snow when he started rubbing. Honestly it looks like a moose rub to me however. Do you have moose there?
