Nice Mule Deer Skull(photos)
 

While I was out looking for sheds yesterday I came a cross this dead buck. It had been there for at least a year. It has great brow tines for a mule deer.

This first photo is how it layed when I found it.


The rest of the top jaw broke up after I picked it up so I could get better photos of it.

Great photos. Just curious, are the white patches in the background of the second picture snow? We have been hitting close to 90 a few days lately.

those white patches are the last remenants of our snow. We have had a couple of big snow storms that last month and it is finally just about gone. The last dump of snow was about four inches last week. We had about 8 inches of the stuff near the beggining of April.

Great find...thanks for the pics. Great set of eye
guards on that buck[:-], don' t think I' ve seen
many like those on a mulie.
