RE: Gangrene in Deer?
I have always heard that you do not mess with the meat of a deer like that, any of the meat. I have always followed that advice and do not want to try it and get sick.

RE: Gangrene in Deer?
It's not worth getting sick over.I would depose of it and think of it as putting the deer out of it's misery.Ruger Redhawk

RE: Gangrene in Deer?
If it has gotten into the spine, that means it is in the blood system, which means it is in the whole deer. I recomend, discard the whole thing.
no need to make anyone sick foe a little meat. I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry. |
RE: Gangrene in Deer?
Definitly wouldn't try eating it .Even if the game warden said it was good .I doubt they would go to the trouble of testing it.
