Quartering slightly towards me. Entered about 5 inches in front of shoulder, went through the spine, exited about 2 inches ahead of the shoulder. Fell over like a tree.

Shot my 6 point at 47 yrds, high behind the shoulder. Hit the spine. The buck fell right there, twitched for five seconds and that was it. 12 ga. Winchester platinum

I let the air out of two does with my bow..one quartering away on one and broadside on the other.Got a nice 9 point with my 7mm08 behind shoulder..He went 4 ft...... STRAIGHT DOWN

i shot both my deer in the lungs and liver, then my bow kill was a 10x thru the liver

I ran a 180 grain bullet through both shoulders of a nice 9 point out of curiousity because i ve always shot my deer through both lungs and i hear all these guys telling me if you shoot them through the shoulders they'll go straight down. Well i found out it was a bunch of BS. I did this on two deer and both ran over sixty yards without anyshoulder. Stick em in the lungs.
