Wow. you can tell it's the offseason. 10 pages of responses.
My new '09 Polaris Sportsman 500HO. Polaris addressed a couple of the issues from previous years (air intake and cv boot protection). I had pondered a Honda for engine reliability but where I go any Honda would bottom out constantly. Just no ground clearance and so who cares if it starts for the next 20 years if I am forever stuck. I would not have gotten thatbuck out with a Honda since it would not go up some of the terrain.Also I fired up my Polaris in -30 degree weather to go ice fishing all the time. At a pond hockey tournament this winter there were 4 brand new Honda's with snow plows for clearing the ice pads. Couldn't use them until noon when the day warmed up enough to start them.
