Copenhagen for Hunting

Hey Guys,

How many others need Copenhagen to survive while hunting. Personally, I love being in the woods with a little Cope,.....Heaven.....

Yeah I chew, drink and had pre-marital sex....what does that have to do with enjoying a dip and killing deer?

Those pictures you see on the dentist's walls are worst case scenario when it comes to dip/chew. Those people NEVER brushed their teeth and more than likely also lived in an area with poor flouride content in their water.

I have been dipping for 15 years and I have to tell my dentist that I dip. He honestly cannot tell when I go in for my cleanings. That's because I move it around and don't keep it in the same spot every time I use it. I also brush/floss my teeth twice a day and use Listerine at the same time.

I know dip/chew is not healthy at all, but I just think it's funny when the first thing people resort to is a comment about dental hygiene.

Oh yeah, I use Copenhagen snuff every singe time I go hunting and contrary to popular belief, I still see deer almost every time I go.

Never was much for chewing but I have alot of friends who enjoy it. I do however love to have a cold one after a hunt. Heck I'm from Wisconsin we will drink to just about anything.

I dip Kodiak Wintergreen when I'm hunting... but I smoke the rest of the time, but never in the woods. As far as the smell scaring deer, I don't think it's a problem. I've actually seen and shot more deer when I had a dip in than when I didn't. It has always made me wonder if the smell, if the deer can even smell it from any real distance, is more of a curiousity scent that attracts deer than one that will spook deer away like human scent can.

As far as my dentist is concerned, I couldn't give a crap about what he thinks. His job is to clean my teeth and fill any cavities he might find (haven't had a cavity in 15 years). It's not his mouth. Besides, if my very occational use of chewing tobacco messes my teeth up, then why's he complaining? It's just more money in his pocket.

Mike
