hunting guides wanted
hi,
i am a travel agent in washington, dc. i have about 10 men, fromChina, who want to hunt in US in the March, for about 4 days. trophyhunting.
so we need to hire an experienced hunting guide.
I have no idea. so i want to know:
1. what is a good state to hunt, say deer, in the march? we prefer the washington state, but i am afraid it would be too cold.
2. any somebody recommend a hunting guide?
thanks
Joseph

RE: hunting guides wanted
you wont find many open seasons if any during march that I know of. You will have to go to a private guide basically a high fence hunt...which most people agree really isnt hunting...

Ten guys from China probably could care less if they are behind a high fence. You could probably stick them in a petting zoo and they wouldn't know the difference.BTW, there are no deer seasons going on in THE March.

There is some game farms wee once could hunt upland birds behind dogs - that is an option.
Spring turkey opens in late March in some southern states - that is another option.
But as said O know of no der season anywhere in March.
Other than maybe a high fence reserve and Texas would be a better bet. And the bucks will have no antlers either as they are starting to drop now.

Like everyone else has said, no deer hunting seasons open in march. However, if they go out in the fall and want to shoot and big buck and are willing to pay something, Buffalo County in Wisconsin is the place to go.

Come to my house!!!! I can actually get ten guys bookes for a trophy muskrat hunt. The lake is a little under a mile long. and about three hundred yards wide at its widest. I have both canoe and land hunts. I'll provide Ruger 10/22's for the hunt with either scope or not. Prices will vary depending on market.
