can deer feeders be made cattle safe.in other words -if there are cattle around,how can one insure that they wont be raided by cows? and feed just deer ? thnx pete az

A fence is the only thing I can think of that <might> keep cows out and let deer in. Try some cheap metal post and some barbed wire/ or solar electric. If the cows find out that corn is over there on the ground you are going to have a hard time with them though. You cando permanent posts if its your land, would work much better.

Maybe have a big steak dinner for all the fine folks here?:D
