Do you think this guy would make the 125" P&Y minimum? He looks to have decent beam length, tine length and a decent spread. Buck season is over in PA. His rack next year could be bigger.

I see him in the high teens- low twenties. It's tough to tell from the picture, but I think he's young enough that he'll be bigger next year.

From this picture and the angle of the deer, I would call him 125-130" easy, and here is how I derived me guess.

main beams: 20" each
spread: 16"
mass measurements: 15" each side
G2: 10" each
G3:6" and 8"
brows: 4" each

Whether he makes it or not, he's a nice looking buck. Almost perfect. Next year he should be a little wider, a little taller and a little thicker. Should be a dandy then. Hopefully he stays on our property and doesn't move off during the rut.

I'm going to guess Him a bit lower. I'm going to say He'll score right around 110" give, or take a few inches.

Also I'd say He's a 2 1/2 year old deer. Next year He'll prolly score in the 130's.

I have looked at that picture 4 times now and all I see is a 7 pointer with no G3 on the right side. Am I missing something??? If he is just a 7 point, that deer will not score over 110 (closer to 105 IMO).

Thanks for the clerarer picture. Using my 10 pt from this year as a comparison as width and tine length are roughly similar, mine grossed 123 with10 inches of G4 tine length. Minus the 10 inches for this 8pt, I would say 110-115.

I'd have a hard time passing him up, no matter what he scores. He's a nice looking buck. Next year he should be a real wall-hanger. I'm going to be looking for him ;)

I don't think he's quite 125, but, he's pretty close, and with good forage next spring, I bet he'll make it for sure next year.

By way of comparison, this one was 126" gross/121" net...

He should be dropping his rack pretty soon. If he's still around, you could get lucky. You'd havea much better idea if you were to find a shed.
