I've frozen them and brought them home in coolers.
I also put a quartered deer in a suitcase, surrounded a 3lb block of dry ice with meat wrapped in plastic. Came through fine. You MUST inform the airline if you use dry ice. It cannot be placed in a compartment with animals.
