ORIGINAL: ropaque hey guys i was always told there was a difference in deer crap. buck crap being clumped together and doe being seperate pellets. is there any truth behind this? or is the clumping just a sign of change in diet? Notice during the winter when the droppings/CRAP look harder and are like pellets. This, as we can all guess, is from eating twigs, bark, general "winter" browse etc... |
RE: deer crap
I agree 100% with Edcylopedia. I don't think theres any way to tell sex apart.

RE: deer crap
Well it has a lot to do with diet. But when a deer gets out of the bed, all the poop is compacted in the intestine. Clumpy poop means....."deer just got out of bed" and thats a fact!!!! Look at where you find the clumpy poop, I bet its close to a bedding area.
