if season is coming toa close and I need meat, I'm gonna attempt to take. If its early in the season, he walks for sure.

I shot a couple in the past, but I don't see me ever shooting another one. I don't need to kill a buck that badly.

I let them walk. Generally, there are plenty of opportunities throughout the season to shoot a doe or quality buck.

In most cases I don't kill spikes unless I haven't seen/killed any other deer that season. If I've been there since 5am and day light will be gone in a matter of minutes I'll go ahead and kill it.

During rifle season I had to take a leak and I randomly looked over and there one was, starin right at me. It was polite and even waited for me to finish. haha

No question...WALK!!! Give the poor guy a chance to mature a little. I'd rather shoot a doe then a spike any day.
