Far shot!
I drew a youth deer tag here in Oregon and so my dad and I were walking down this loggin road and we looked across the canyon and we saw 2 deer running up the hill. We watched them and noticed one of them was a forked horn, so I layed my back pack on the ground and rested my rifle on it to get steadier. Then I steadied the cross hairs about a foot over its back cause it was 365 yards away and shot! But went over its back. then the thing came down the hill a little so I got another shell in the chamber. Then it stopped 336 yards away facing me so I steadied the cross hairs about 5 inches higher than I wanted to hit. BANG! it took the bullet about 3 quarters of a second to get to it and I nailed it! It dropped in its tracks.
