Default late bowhunting in southern Indiana

I am from michigan and I have hunted the hoosier national forest during the rut the past couple of years, I still have a tag to fill I was wondering if it would be worth coming down around christmas. Does the forest get hunted very hard during gun season I am hunting by Tell city.
