Tomahawk Doe Kill

You have got to see this post of this guy from PA that claims to have killed this doe with his tomahawk at 50 yards. I am not buying it.

Sounds like a good way to wound one with little chance of a kill. If one's bored with hunting, just give it up.

If this is real then congrats to the hunter but I dont to see the beginning of a new trend with this.
Some people get obsessed with the whole idea of "making it more challenging" but this is taking it too far IMO and borders on irresponsible.
The doe is down as shown in the pics but the failure / wounding rate with this method of hunting is way higher than with bow and should not be done.
Next thing we'll see is a "tomohawk season" with some days taken fromrifle season or muzzle loading , enough with the primitive nonsense.

I can only hope this an isolated incident.

50 yards... that's NOTHING - Ridge Runner could Tomahawk it from 1350 yards in high wind.

Is that legal to hunt with a tomahawk like that?

I'm calling BS. Anybody notice the bullet hole under the tomahawk in the first picture?;)
