Who knows. Not for me

RE: Tomahawk Doe Kill
Heres a vid of a guy throwing a tomahawk at 75 feet, no way this could be done at 50 yards, especially at a deer.

I know it's a long shot, but I want to believe. It's the season for miracles!

RE: Tomahawk Doe Kill
You still have a crush on that guy?
ORIGINAL: A11en 50 yards... that's NOTHING - Ridge Runner could Tomahawk it from 1350 yards in high wind. |
RE: Tomahawk Doe Kill
I'm calling BS because he claims that the Pa Game Commission issues a special permit. I live in PA and we recently had an attempt to allow the atlatl as a hunting weapon. It was defeated. A tomahawk is NOT listed as a legal hunting weapon. No way is there such a thing as a tomahawk permit!!
Unless of course the "permit" was for a high fence preserve! Anything the owner allows is OK within one of those. |
RE: Tomahawk Doe Kill
I don't buy it either. For one, there was not a drop of blood on the tomahawk itself (you would think a gaping axe wound would have blood pouring out of it...just look at what a 1.5" broadhead can do). I'm not from penn., but I'm unaware of any state that allows the use of such a weapon for hunting purposes, or has "special permits" available for that. And lastly, I don't know how someone could actually throw a tomahawk 50 yards...quarterbacks with some of the strongest arms out there have difficult throwing a football that distance, so chucking a tomahawk that far would seem implausable at best.

RE: Tomahawk Doe Kill
If this guy can do this then he needs to play professional baseball. I doubt a top pitcher can hit the kill zone on a deer with a baseball more than 7-8 times out of 10 at 50 yards. And I am being kind.
A top pitcher throws 98mph off of a mound with no obstructions (144ft/Sec). At that arrow speed,a deer can move, eat lunch, and come back tojump that arrow. Does he have a big"S" under his clothes....... |
RE: Tomahawk Doe Kill
Just read that competitions for adults are at 15 feet with a tomahawk.
