RE: braking the law
This thread is starting to remind me of that scene in the movie "pee wees big adventure" when the convict tells pee wee "ya know those tags on the bottom of a mattress that say do not remove , well I cut one of them off".

RE: braking the law
ORIGINAL: crokit ORIGINAL: vabyrd It's nice to be in the 1%. People have 0 respect for animals and the law. Its about shooting a big buck, dead in its tracks from 300 yards. Then pretending like you're a great hunter. TV ruined hunting. People will stop at nothing for notoriety. YUP!! And, it won't be long before the SKILL of hunting falls to the way side only to be replaced with " have to kill something " mentality. I believe we're already there, unfortunately. Just read some of the threads on this site and you'll see. |
RE: braking the law
No need to break laws,I enjoy hunting to much to lose my hunting rights and the laws aren't that strict, they allow you to take a lot of game over the course of a year, and all you have to do is get out and hunt to fill your tags and game bags.If you think you have to poach or shoot more than you are suppose to then have fun,and sooner or later you will be telling everybody how you got your guns and hunting rights taken away and crying the blues like a little girl who dropped her ice cream!!

RE: braking the law
I break the law every time I leave the cabin. I refuse to load my weapon at my blind. It is against the law, but it Choose to disregard this law. As I would suspect a lot of people do. I also don’t always wear my seat belt. Do I shoot before legal light? No not really. Are there various things that pose a threat to me on the way to my hunting spot? Yep. If I read in the paper that a hunter was killed by a bear and if he would have had his weapon loaded he might have had a chance. I would think this guy deserved it..

RE: braking the law
I cannot believe thatso many HNI membersperfectly dot their i's and crosses their t's absolutely everytime. There are some minor details that get broken, but no matter how minor they are still laws....that is why law enforcement typically has some leeway in their personal discression..... I honestly do not stare at my watch for shooting hours while deer hunting to load or unload my gunbut I sure dont hunt at "night" either....
