RE: How Strait
that is the model i shoot and mine will shoot on a line at about 100 yards. after that i aim about an inch higher per 100 yards .. so i would aim an inch high at 200 and two inches high at 300. i don't like shooting over 100 though so i don't do it often.

RE: How Strait
A remington 700 will shoot as straight as any gun...no flatter no slower than another....sight it in at 100 yards shoot it at other distances and you will find out! Also read a reloading manual for some technical info!

RE: How Strait
it will be different from bullet weight and load and everything. Find a bullet that shoots well out of your gun and start shooting. learn your loads and how they shoot. write it all down. then you're set

Bullets drop the second they leave the barrel. 165grain 30-06, 100 yd zero will drop to about 2.5" at 200 yards and about a foot at 300 yards. I doesnt make a rats a$$ what model rifle it is.
