Well theres a few different brands. Theres the new TC Pro Hunter and the Knight KP1 are my two favorites. But if ur wanting one "CHEAP" then look at the old TC Encore or try to find a used one at a gun show or something

Nor am I. That would be retarded:eek:.
Seriously though, I think it's better to have a smaller gun. Not a smaller CALIBER, but smaller gun.

for under 400 bucks you should be able to pick up a decent used bolt action.

Check out the latest Cabella's ad. I just got one in my local paper here in Chicagoland (the Daily Herald). Saw a rifle and scope combo for a total price of $299 new, including a $50 rebate (you'd pay $350 up front). I don't think it's single shot. But it's a bolt action. Comes in .243 and .270 I believe.

Hope this helps.

For that price you can get a savage bolt that will outshoot most shooters! Hard to beat for the money.

Mossberg makes (or made) a single shot rifle recently. Probably could find a new/lightly used one for your price. They looked pretty nice too.

Mossberg SSI-One oon Gunsamerica, .308 and 12 ga barrels, $550. I'm sure there are others out there somewhere.

I know Rossi makes a gun called the Trifecta I believe. It is a 50 cal muzzleloader, 20 ga shotgun and .243. I think you can get it with all three barrels for like $350. Never shot one so I know nothing of quality or accuracy.
