im tellin u guys, this is an old picture from a newspaper in steeleville, missouri from a LONG time ago, it is real and actually happened, but it was forever ago

Yes its real Heres the story:

The guy who shot it is 6 foot tall and weighs about 220 lbs. He was in a deer stand near Consolidated Rd. and County Hwy. B. He saw it pass him upwind and then down wind. When the cat passed him again he knew that it was hunting him, so - boom.

Thats a huge cat, I dont beleive its photshopped. But I still feel safe. During bow season I always carry my knife!!:D;)[&:][:@]:(

I live25 miles southof Steelville MO and this picture was circulating around here. I'm sure it did make the papers 30 years ago. I do know for a fact that a cougar was killed around 3 years ago by a young fellow fall turkey hunting. The cat came to a turkey call and was stalking a decoy. He shot and killed the cat and reported it to the conservation dept. They took the cat and tried to convince him that it wasn't a cougar. They also told him not to talk about it because we don't have mtn lions in Missouri. They tried to convince him that he didn't shoota cougar. Trust me. He killed a mtn lion. I'm surethey're importing them in here just like they are bears.

Tombosley, if your DNR guy says its real, ask him about all the Mule deer racks in the background. I got an email that this picture was out of Michigan and pointed the Mule deer racks out. It was quickly discredited. 2 lunger is right, the Pic is out of Arizona and the gentleman is a DNR agent, his hat also backs it up.
