I believe here in Texas even if it's your vehicle thats is ruined they don't allow you to pickup the deer!Their deer between the fences!

Heck ya!! There's nothing wrong with roadkill. Here in the burbs of Chicago, cars are the only predators out there! Ive seen deer that have run into cars and only broke there neck. There is nothing wrong with roadkill deer as long as they aren't destroyed and you know there fresh. Eat up!

ORIGINAL: BIG DONNIE BRASCO

...would that still be the case if you saw it get hit, and the backstraps, and tenderloins were completely unaffected?

*Fresh
*perfect shape
That would be about the only way I would eat it. Otherwise, I wouldn't know how long it had been out there. Yeach!

Yep. Most cases it was people we knew or the driver had come into the local hang out saying they had just hit one up the road.

The cops in the surrounding towns keep a road kill list. If a deer gets killed they make a couple of calls and problem solved. Half the time the legs are broken and the cop shoots it in the head.

PS.. A couple of the cops keep the ones with big racks...
