corn
whats a better idea? pouring a whole bag of corn out at one time for deer or pouring a little out at a time?
|
RE: corn
a lot out spreadover a larger area

RE: corn
In Wisconsin I can only put out a certain amount legally. If you can put out more at one time you don't have to replenish it as often unless you have a lot of animals eating. The less you have to be in there the better.

RE: corn
I would broadcast spread it in a large area that can be seen from your stand. Deer have a tendency to eat as much as they can in a short time and then go hide and chew it for digestion later. You can keep a deer busy for an hour spreading it around vs. 5 or 10 minutes if it is piled up. You also lessen the chance of spreading disease this way.

I'm Not Sure But I Do Belive It Is Illegal In The State Of Ohio To Bait Deer.
Unless Your Using Some Sort Of Mineral Lick, Salt Block, Planted Clovers Or A Food Plot. Not Just A Pile Of Grain. |
